ART

Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.

Art is the colours and textures of your imagination.

Art is an adventure that never seems to end!

Lesson 1: Shading
Sunday, January 18, 2009
1:23 PM

For those who are interested, here are some videos that demonstrate how to shade different shapes.

Remember to file the 2 pages of worksheets into you Art Folio and fill up the content page.

This is the cube that we did in class, but with examples of light coming from different directions. His shading is very rough because he's trying to show you quickly, so PLEASE DON'T SHADE LIKE THIS!

Cube

The sphere / ball that we didn't have time to do.

Part 2:

This is a cylinder, the last shape on Page 2 of my worksheet.

You can surf the site for many other drawing demonstrations :)

Welcome.

Dear all Sec 1 students,

I am glad to be teaching you this year.

Art Class should be fun and relaxing... so please try to have fun during my classes, WHILE KEEPING THE VOUME DOWN! If I get complained by other teachers next door, I'll have to be stricter and classes will be less relaxed.

Relax, but don't sit like my cat!

Try.

Just try during my classes and I'm okay with you. I get angry with students who don't even bother to make an effort to learn.

Please don't say your Art is lousy... you'll never fulfil your potential if you don't give it a proper attempt right?
