ART

Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.

Art is the colours and textures of your imagination.

Art is an adventure that never seems to end!

Lesson 3: Dots, lines and shapes
Sunday, February 15, 2009
9:39 PM

We learnt that dots combine to become a line, which joins other lines to make up a shape.

Here are the videos I wanted to show you in class but some classes could not see them because of technical problems:

Dots (1940)

Dots and Lines

Line Dot Detective

Love Story Between The Dot and The Line *must see!

Our next project is creating a portrait of ourself, or a friend in class. Some of you wanted to draw Mrs Low, so pls go ahead.

The style we follow is that of Pablo Picasso, the Spanish painter known for disfiguring his subjects and using shapes to draw them. Here is his picture, and some samples of his work.

I am looking forward to seeing your artworks!
